Five nights at the award winning El Karama Lodge, set in its own 15,000 acre private wildlife conservancy. All meals, snacks and tastings. A drinks pairing each evening with dinner and a selection of hot and soft drinks throughout the day. Cooking demonstrations, a cocktail masterclass, hands-on craft workshops, outdoor activities, guided foraging and bush walks, game drives and night drives, bush picnics and river fishing (with your own rod).

Four nights staying at Eilean Shona House or one of the island cottages, on a private island. Transfer from the mainland via boat. All meals, snacks and tastings. A drinks pairing each evening with dinner and a selection of hot and soft drinks throughout the day. Cooking demonstrations, a cocktail masterclass, hands-on craft workshops, outdoor activities such as paddleboarding or kayaking, guided foraging or hikes, sauna, beach and bothy picnics, excursions to local suppliers and sea fishing.

Travel to and from the Lodge, conservancy fees, spa bookings, horse-riding, gratuities for local staff and any drinks ordered in addition to what is provided.

KITW is designed for over 18s. Unfortunately the events are not suitable for those younger.

The events are for a maximum of 18 guests as well as the KITW team. The groups tend to be from all over the world, a broad range of age, background and profession but with a common spirit for adventure and keen interest in food. We welcome couples, solo travellers and small groups of friends.
The events are communal; guests all eat together and participate in small group activities during the day.

We are advocates of slow travel. Guests are encouraged to travel within the country before or after the events. We can introduce you to local specialist partners to plan this.

For solo travelers, there is a location specific single supplement to secure a private room. These are limited depending on the venue. Prices are available upon enquiry.

Whilst there will be options at breakfast; lunches and dinners will be set menus. Meat and fish play a large part in the menus. Whilst we can cater for vegetarians, we sadly cannot offer vegan menus. All allergies are requested at the point of booking.

We urge you to have your own travel insurance in case of cancellation, medical emergencies or theft, loss or damage.

All published prices are per head. We ask for a 50% non refundable deposit immediately to confirm your space. The remaining 50% is due 12 weeks before arrival.
